The popular Kenshin Himura will soon hit cinemas, with Sato Takeru playing as the heroic assassin 'Battousai'. (Warner Brothers Pictures Japan) The
action film was started around August and was finished on the 21st of November. This could be the very first live adaptation in cinema of the popular manga series 'Rurouni Kenshin' (popularly known as Samurai X) originally written by Nobuhiro Watsuki.
The role will be played by Takeru Sato, who made his first debut as the lead role ( Ryotaro Nogami) in Kamen Rider Den-O and also in popular film Beck on a major supporting role.
Anime fans surely cant wait for its release which is said to be on August 25th, 2012, the production also made preparations to distribute it overseas so expect the film to be a big hit not only in Japan but also throughout the international cinemas.
